 Leander Youth Baseball Club
Open to ALL area youth looking for a beginning experience in the game of baseball. Dr. John's Sports Center offers a T-Ball and Coach Pitch Program for children ages 4 - 8 years old. Our goal is to provide an instructional program for children to develop attitudes of teamwork, sportsmanship, and to provide a wholesome family and friendship oriented recreation program with an emphasis on teaching proper skills and techniques of baseball. But most important is to make sure everyone has FUN!

Winter 2012 Clinics
Who: ALL children ages 4-8
Format: The Winter Clinics will focus on development of the fundamental skills of batting, running and fielding. Coaches will emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship in a supportive and FUN environment. Clinics will be held in practice, then play format.
When: February 25- March 17
T-Ball (ages 4-6): Saturday (9am- 10am)
Coach Pitch (ages 6-8): Saturday (10am- 11am)
Cost: $40 per player
Spring 2012 Leagues
Who: T-Ball (ages 4-6), Coach Pitch (ages 6-8)
When: March 19- May 19 (First game TBD)
T-Ball Format: This nine week league offers players one hour of practice each week (players will choose their practice day) with games on Saturdays. Coaches will teach players the fundamentals of the game; proper catching, throwing, batting and player positions.
Coach Pitch Format: This nine week league offers players 1.5 hours of practice each week (players will choose their practice day) with games every other Thursday and every Saturday. Coaches will teach players the fundamentals of the game; proper catching, throwing, batting and player positions. Coaches will pitch six times and after the third strike, players will bat off of tee.
T-Ball Practice: Tuesday, Wednesday OR Thursday (6pm- 7pm)*
Coach Pitch Practice: Monday, Tuesday OR Wednesday (6pm- 7:30pm)*
*If you are registering online and do not have a preference for your practice day, please choose the FLEXIBLE option in the drop down menu.
T-Ball Games: Every Saturday (starting at 10am*)
Coach Pitch Games: Every other Thursday (starting at 6pm), Every Saturday (starting at 10am*)
*Saturday game schedule will be set once teams have formed. First games TBD.
T-Ball Fees: Shirt & Cap included. Players must furnish own glove.
Early Bird Registration (before 2/27/12): $70 per player
Regular Registration (by 3/5/12): $80 per player
Late Registration (after 3/5/12): $90 per player
